Comment: A decent bloody Mary. The most impressive part was the enormous celery stalk (and celery salt on the glass). The appearance of our groups' drinks varied greatly (rich and red to watery-looking), as did the tastes. They also had a "Gut-Buster", although nobody ventured to try it.

Comment: The advertised "super-secret recipe" is delicious due to whatever they're hiding in those four unlabeled bottles that go into each glass. Pickled mushrooms are a nice touch on the salad, Clamato serves as the base, and at $3.75 for a pint, it would be good to pay attention to the bar's motto: If you're drinking to forget, please pay in advance. The Backwoods is also accessible from Chain/Clear/McCann/Island lakes.
