Slice's is known as a local hang out for a quick beer and a little townie atmosphere. Stopping in for a bloody was great for hanging with friends, but not for the taste. The bloody was very watered down and served in a smaller-than-pint-glass. What the bloody lacked in tomato flavor, it did make up for in a few olives (my favorite salad), but it wasn't much more than that. The price was right, coming in around $4, but I would've rather spent it on a pint of beer here.

You don't get more "townie bar" than Slice's, even if it is a major hangout for adult kickball leaguers on weeknights. Decent enough bar food, and friendly staff & crowd, too, but don't count on a great bloody mary. Flavor was nothing great. I was asked if I wanted pickles or olives, and the one pickle I got was limp at best. A buzzworthy pour was the only real highlight.
