Pricey, but pretty large...or at least it sure seemed like it. For salad: a pickle, olive, lemon, lime, and LOTS of celery salt lining the rim, which is a big plus for me. Tasty with a unique flavor. - at Babe's Grill and Bar on |

I'll keep it simple in spirit of a simple BM: $5 for a pint size glass. Salad was just 2 olives and a lemon. Decent flavor. - at Badger Bowl on |

Love the concept of Smut & Eggs, as well as the owner's "give 'em hell" attitude towards local politicians, but sadly, the bloody fell short (as did the breakfast). Not enough booze in there, and the goods at the BM salad bar were far from fresh or chilled. I preferred (and miss) the Park Street Bennett's. This remaining one is like midget porn: Something you feel you've gotta see at some point, but once you do, you quickly realize once is enough... ...And then you go back for more anyways. - at Bennett's on |

Too much horseradish for me. Way too overpowering. In fact, it was the first bloody in a long while that I didn't even want to finish. And to top it off, the service was terrible (Note, it was semi-busy but staff still stood around the bar chatting with each other). Only bright spot was that the booze factor was high. A situation where the star-ratings make it seem better than it is. - at Benvenuto's on |

I tried the large bloody here, called "Fire and Ice," and was very impressed, to say the least. Even though it's loaded with ice, the HUGE size makes it worth the $6.50. (Sidenote the pint size is $6, so always get the larger one.) Made with a nice amount of quality vodka, loaded with salad (including a FULL stick of string cheese), and offering a delicious flavor, it's a rare 5 star bloody. Note, it could use a little more spice and a free chaser would've been nice, but hey, it's still worthy of elite status. - at Bonfyre American Grille on |

Packed a punch, but the small size was a downer, especially when ordering 4 of 'em in a round sets you back just short of $20 after the tip. Also, cold is good but all the ice packed into the such a small glass made it seem as if it were the portion size of a Tabasco bottle. Maybe order the double right off the bat if you give the Bowl a Vard's BM a try. - at Bowl A Vard on |

Full star for the nice little assortment w/ the salad. No star for the $7 price tag - I should note there's a 2 for 1 deal on Sundays though. Pretty un-noteworthy taste and flavorless spice. I had expected more out of this BM experience, so maybe it was an off day. - at Brocach Irish Pub on |

Great...Price at $5 w/ a good-sized chaser. Good...Service. Friendly and attentive. Mediocre...Size and Salad at a Pint w/ 1 pickle and 2 olives. Poor...Spice and Sauce. No punch for either. And it can be noted I'm not big on hot BMs, but this was basically tomato juice. Hopefully on off day or something. - at Chasers Bar and Grille on |

Even though it's slightly oversized than your average pint BM, it's still overpriced as well. Great salad and spice, but can't say the taste is memorable. - at Club Tavern and Grill on |

A decent bloody but nothing to write home about. Weak salad, with only two olives and a pickle. They charged for a small chaser, and without warning too, which I think is a MAJOR Bloody Foul. Sidenote: Very friendly staff and delicious food, but pricier than you'd expect. - at Dexter's Pub on |

While the price may seem high when you hear it, their bloody is LOADED with extras. The jumbo shrimp alone make it worth the cost. You honestly have to see it to believe it. Sidenote: I don't think they serve breakfast but you can't beat the size of their burgers (and other sandwiches) too. Beware: they sometimes are closed on unusual days. - at Eagle Crest on |

Delicious bloody whose only fault is the lack of good salad (though the courteous bartender did ask if I wanted the olives and a pickle). There was a good sized chaser for a buck, which still brought the total up to only $5 - meaning yes, the bloody itself was only four bucks. Great deal even without a lot of salad. - at Eddie's Ale House & Eatery on |

Quick breakdown: $6 for pint w/ a free, but tiny, chaser. Salad includes a limp and slightly foul tasting pickle, lemon, lime, and 2 olives. Fair taste but too much horseradish. Spicy but not over the top. - at Great Dane Hilldale on |

Charging for a chaser is no good in my book, but the excellent salad in this bloody made it worth the $6 total. Mine was hot and spicy-a little too much for my tastes, actually. Nice and potent too. However, I think the standard size for a bloody is a pint, so with the $6 total to boot (yeah, I know, it sounds like I'm contradicting myself), I gave it a half star there. Awesome salad and the sauce was buzzworthy, but it's just not a 5 star bloody in my book. - at Mickey's Tavern on |

A solid bloody. Very tasty, with only big downside being it could use a little more salad. The breakfast was just as reliable, though, making this a rare treat where both the bloody and the breakfast satisfy. - at Murphy's Tavern on |

Just olives for salad (and I don't even care for olives). Not overly spicy, but that's okay by me so I gave it a full star there. Very delicious BM, I will say. However, it seems like they're missing out on the Mexican angle. At least throw a jalapeno in there! - at Pedro's on |

The Silver Eagle claims it has the "biggest and baddest bloody mary bar" on Saturdays and Sundays...and it DOES. While the price was $6 for a pint size drink (which usually I give a half star because it's the standard size for a bloody, in my opinion), I had to give this place a 5 star rating for a top notch bloody bar backed by very delicious mix and a couple shots of vodka to back it up. The bloody bar was extensive to say the least, and stocked with fresh goods only. From pickles to shrimp, from A1 to horseradish, and several types of cheese AND meat. Hell, they even had olive juice if you wanted it. Definitely worth the six bucks. - at Silver Eagle on |

You don't get more "townie bar" than Slice's, even if it is a major hangout for adult kickball leaguers on weeknights. Decent enough bar food, and friendly staff & crowd, too, but don't count on a great bloody mary. Flavor was nothing great. I was asked if I wanted pickles or olives, and the one pickle I got was limp at best. A buzzworthy pour was the only real highlight. - at Slice's Bar & Grill on |

Good taste but a little too thick/soupy. Only a lemon and 2 olives for salad but a very helpful/friendly bartender asked right away how I wanted it (spice-wise) and offered to add anything if needed. Priced at $4.75 but size was less than a pint (which I think should be standard size for a BM). So in summary, a lot of "buts" in there. A so-so Bloody experience, at best. - at Texas Roadhouse on |

A nice little salad bar w/ A1, pepperoni, shrooms, and even some fresh cheese cubes. Good tastin' premix too. But at $3 for a true Sunday Bloody, it's the top contender for best deal in town. (Again, Sundays only. Not sure of hours though.) - at TGI Fridays on |

Can't quite put my finger on it...Maybe their mix was off on this particular day, but I thought the flavor had a heavy clamato twang to it. Wasn't bad, necessarily, but something was definitely off. - at The Alchemy on |

A terrible bloody. I prefer mine moderately spicy, but still, this bloody was WAY too hot. And what little flavor made it through was poor at best. And the only salad was a single pickle. Definitely not worth it. - at The Villa Tap on |

Very very tasty, on the up side. Biggest downfall was the price. They also skipped the standard pickle -a party foul in my book- but I did enjoy the cheese and pepperoni. - at Uno's on |
